When I was only 17, I seldom return home late. I was pretty obedient.
When I was 18, mum has always depended on me to buy groceries --most of the time.
At 19, circumstances broke me and I went away from Allah.
Last year, I tried coping with studies and at the same time, figuring ways to retrace and be closer to Quran.
Today, I am still contemplating, is life only based on work, work, pay bills, shopping and saving money that has no significant value to the eyes of Allah?
are we doing it right? Did we thank Allah enough?
